Nice Job Rebekah! Your power point looks great. I liked reading about your classroom management and classroom community philosophy. I also plan to use morning meetings to create a community of learners. Your research and steps you took to improve the behavior of your case study student seem thorough and are easy to understand. It is clear that you put a lot of time into seeing her succeed. I can also relate to your reflection. I think this project was useful in preparing for next year. See you at graduation!
Rebekah,
Thanks for being so dedicated to your case study student, they deserved that. And like Kathryn, I find morning meeting to be an integral part of my day. To be honest, when we first read about it, I scoffed. But since I began doing a less formal version and moved into the more formalized morning meeting, I have really seen a unity in my children that I appreciate. I hope I will see the same next year, I hope the same for you. I know you’ve created a lasting relationship with your case study student. All the best
